Build Specs is a reference and quick-sizing toolkit for jobsite professionals (gas, plumbing, electrical, framing), published by Corvora. If something isn't working, you have a question about a calculator, or you'd like to suggest an improvement, the fastest way to reach us is by email.
Open the app and tap any locked tool, or open the Subscribe screen from the home view. Choose the Yearly plan to get a 7-day free trial — Apple won't charge you until day 7, and you can cancel any time before then in your Apple ID settings without being charged. The trial is only available on the yearly plan.
Sign in to the new device with the same Apple ID you used to purchase. Open Build Specs, go to the Subscribe screen, and tap Restore Purchases. Your active subscription will be re-applied automatically. If nothing happens, double-check that you're signed in to the same Apple ID under Settings → [your name] → Media & Purchases.
Subscriptions are billed by Apple, so cancellations are managed in your Apple ID settings — not inside Build Specs. On your iPhone, go to Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions → Build Specs → Cancel Subscription. Cancellation stops the next renewal but does not refund the current period. You'll keep access through the end of your paid period.
Build Specs gives you a free 10-minute preview to try every tool. After that, continued access requires a Build Specs Pro subscription ($39.99/yr with a 7-day free trial, or $9.99/mo). The subscription supports ongoing code-table maintenance, new calculators, and updates as codes are revised.
Yes — refunds for App Store purchases are handled by Apple. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in with your Apple ID, find the Build Specs purchase, and request a refund. Apple reviews refund requests directly. Build Specs does not process refunds itself.
Email us at [email protected] with the inputs you used, the answer the app gave, and the answer you expected (and your source if possible). We treat correctness reports as the highest priority. As a reminder, Build Specs is a reference aid — always verify against the governing code edition, manufacturer documentation, and your AHJ before relying on any output for installed work.
You can read the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy. The short version: we don't collect personal information, run analytics, or sell data — your inputs and saved layouts stay on your device.
Email [email protected] with a short description of what you're trying to do and what's happening instead. A screenshot is always helpful. We'll get back to you.
