This Privacy Policy describes how Corvora (“we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use the ScripterCam mobile and web applications (collectively, the “App”). By using the App you agree to the practices described below.
1. Information we collect
ScripterCam is designed to work without an account. We collect very little information, and most of it never leaves your device.
Scripts and settings. The text you write or import, your saved script library, font size, scroll speed, mirror, accent color, and similar preferences are stored only on your device using local storage (web) or AsyncStorage (mobile). We do not transmit, read, or back up this content.
Camera, microphone, and photo library; no face data collection. If you use the recording feature, video and audio are captured on-device and saved directly to your device’s storage or photo library. A recording may visually include your face or the faces of people you choose to record, but ScripterCam does not collect face data and does not detect, analyze, identify, map, extract, or create biometric templates from faces. Recordings are never uploaded to us or any third party.
Subscription data. If you purchase a subscription, the purchase is processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Play Store). We use RevenueCat as our subscription management provider. RevenueCat receives an anonymous app-user ID generated on your device, your purchase receipt, your country, device model, and OS version so it can validate the purchase and tell the App whether you have an active subscription. RevenueCat does not receive your name, email address, Apple ID, or payment details.
Diagnostic information. Apple and Google may share crash reports and aggregated usage statistics with us if you opt in to share them via your device settings. We do not run our own analytics SDK.
2. What we do not collect
We do not require an account, email, or phone number.
We do not collect contacts, location, browsing history, or device identifiers for advertising.
We do not collect biometric face data, face geometry, facial landmarks, faceprints, or face-recognition data.
We do not sell or rent personal information to anyone.
We do not use third-party advertising networks.
3. How we use information
The limited information described above is used solely to:
Operate the App and its core features (editing, prompting, recording).
Validate and restore your subscription across your devices.
Apple and Google — for billing, in-app purchase processing, and platform crash reporting (governed by their own privacy policies).
Authorities — when required by law, valid legal process, or to protect rights, property, or safety.
5. Data retention
On-device data, including locally saved scripts and recordings, persists until you delete it, delete the App, or clear its storage. Videos saved to your photo library remain there until you delete them from your device. We do not retain face data because ScripterCam does not collect it, and we do not retain recordings on our servers because they are never uploaded to us. Subscription records held by RevenueCat are retained for as long as needed to manage entitlement and meet tax/audit requirements.
6. Your choices and rights
You can delete all on-device data at any time by uninstalling the App.
You can revoke camera, microphone, or photo permissions in your device’s system settings.
You can manage or cancel your subscription in Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions on iOS, or Play Store → Subscriptions on Android.
Residents of the EEA, UK, California, and similar jurisdictions may request access to or deletion of personal information we hold (which is generally limited to your RevenueCat anonymous user ID and purchase history). Email [email protected].
7. Children
ScripterCam is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
8. International transfers
Our service providers may process data in the United States or other countries. Where required, we rely on standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards.
9. Security
We use commercially reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, including TLS in transit. No system is perfectly secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Effective” date at the top will reflect the most recent version. Material changes will be communicated in the App.
